Hyacinth vase and White Hyacinth bulb
The white Hyacinth, a beautiful flower, is a symbol of loss and directing prayers to someone you love. It is an image of loveliness, a symbol of innocence, purity and overall sincerity during a time of sorrow.
Fill the hourglass vase with water to just underneath where the bulbs base will sit, then put the bulb in place. Make sure the bulb does not touch the water, just sits above it. Place the glass in a cool dark place for six weeks for the roots to form. Once the main green shoot is about 7-10 centimetres tall, move the glass into the light and watch the flower gradually develop. Turn the glass around by a half turn every day and top up water when necessary.
